- Log in to the web page https://e-ikamet.goc.gov.tr/
- If you would like to make a resident permit application for the FIRST TIME; select the “I LODGE AN APPLICATION FOR RESIDENCE PERMIT FOR THE FIRST TIME” menu.
If you have a residence permit and you want to extend it; select the “I APPLY FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE DURATION OF RESIDENCE PERMIT” menu. (If the residence permit is expired, then the extension application cannot be made)
If you have a residence permit and you want to change the type of residence permit; select the “I LODGE A TRANSFER APPLICATION FOR RESIDENCE PERMIT” menu. - Fill in all the information requested in the Pre-Registration Form completely and complete the necessary security
steps and proceed to the application. - Fill in all the information on the application screen completely and create the residence permit application.
- After you have created your application, complete the application process by selecting your appointment province and date through the “MAKE APPOINTMENT REQUEST/PRINT REGISTRATION DOCUMENT” option. (In İstanbul and Ankara provinces, your appointment date is automatically determined by the application unit and notified to you via SMS or e-mail.)
- You can also pay the residence permit fee and card fee online from the “MAKE PAYMENT” menu after completing your application. (The ACCRUE NUMBER required for payment transactions is included in your
application form.) - On your appointment day, you must apply to the relevant provincial / district directorate of migration management with the documents specified in the application form. (Provincial Directorates of Migration Management may request additional information or documents from you depending on your application.)
WARNING !
•It is essential that residence permit applications are made by the foreigner in person from within the country. However, the applications can also be made by the legal representative of the foreigner or by the lawyer who has a power of attorney.
•In your residence permit transactions, you are not charged any fees other than the card fee, single entry visa fee and residence permit fee by the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management (Transactions such as notary public approval, translation are not carried out by the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.)
